I’m sorry I am so late in responding.  We’ve had a lot going on.  My husband was just diagnosed with breast cancer – very early stage.  It did require a mastectomy and then hematoma removal.  Many doc visits.  Still has a drain in and more decisions yet to be made based on further testing.  We are praising the Lord for good reports so far.

I agree with everyone else that we should do our own reunion.  I know that means a lot of work for you and others nearby.  In ’08 Jane and Holly and Carrie and I went together to our 40th but we were the only ones who showed up.  We did get a tour of the hospital – huge changes! – and they allowed us to see one floor of the dorm.  So many memories!

I’ll give you a brief history of where I’ve been all these years.  I worked in med/surg until the ICU opened at Holland (MI) hospital – my home town.  Then married a med student and moved to Ann Arbor where he attended U of M.  We’ve moved several times (to KY for internship, CA for Nuvy residency, IL to pay back the Navy) but have spent 30 years in MI.  The Lord blessed us with 5 wonderful kids, all now married and they have given us 15 grands.  Unfortunately for us none of them live nearby so we have to travel to see them.  Wendell is semi retired now (he’s an anesthesiologist) so we have more opportunity to do that.  My interests have changed to quilting and needlework – mostly as gifts for the grands.  I’m also involved in a small group Bible study and active in my church.  God has blessed us richly.

It would be great to get together again!  Linda
